How a Ductless System Works

An outdoor compressor connects to one or more indoor heads through a small refrigerant line set, so the only penetration through the wall is a few inches wide. No ducts, no plenum, no chase to build. Each head has its own thermostat, which means one room can be cooled to sixty-eight degrees while the rest of the building stays where it was.
